Overnight : Sundown Manor or Hout Bay Lodge

Day 8

Options for this day include :

Abseiling
An early start to the day sees us heading out to some nearby mountains for a session of abseiling. The day requires you to walk in and out of the canyon where you will abseil down some waterfalls and do some "cliff jumping". While this might not appeal to the average adventure traveller, the option of quad-biking is a great alternative, and slightly more 'normal'.

Quad biking
Travel out of Cape Town to the Elgin area. Here you will be allocated your own quad bike, and, accompanied by a registered field guide, you can have a great outdoors day while enjoying areas of the unique Cape fynbos floral kingdom.
Working with Cape Nature, these guys have put together a fantastic day for anybody who enjoys spectacular views, rare plants, and has a sense of adventure.
Great local wines to sample if time allows at the end of the day !

Day 9

After breakfast we leave Cape Town and head out to Gansbaai for an incredible day of shark viewing. This is Great White territory, and you do have the option of watching from the safety of the boat if you aren’t in the mood for donning scuba gear and getting up close to these awesome creatures. Overnight : Agulhas ( southern most point of Africa ) Gansbaai

Day 10

( Optional day) ( +/- 400km from Agulhas to Plett )

Today we travel further up the Garden Route to our next stop at Plettenberg Bay where you can enjoy an afternoon exploring the area, or catching some waves at one of the great local beaches. Overnight : Plett

Day 11

An early start sees us travelling to the Bloukrans Bridge, site of the highest bungy jump in the world ( 216 m ). For those who prefer to keep their feet on solid ground, there is the option of doing the Bridge Walking tour which gives you fantastic views of this spectacular gorge without having to take 'the leap'.

The Bloukrans Bridge is the 3rd highest in the world and is the largest single span arch bridge in the world ! ( min. 2 hrs for group of 10 people – 10 min / person plus wait of +/- 20 mins ). After the bungy jumping we head off the Tsitsikamma forest for a slightly more leisurely aerial activity – the Tree Top Canopy Tour. Here you move through the canopy of the magnificent Tsitsikamma forest, gliding from tree to tree along steel cables. Along the way, your guide will explain the ecology of the forest and point out some of the beautiful birds found in the tree tops. Overnight : Must get closer to P.E. Maybe Jefferys Bay.
